From Sara we receive this words of wisdom: "Within us is already everything we need to know." The difficulty comes in that there are many layers or levels of knowing with us. We can be aware of many things that are 'true' about ourselves.
As we dig deeper into our consciousness, we find that what is true in one experience is not true in another experience. We see that what is true in one relationship is not true in another.
We are called to have gratitude for whatever truth is revealed, regardless of how we experience that truth. To begin to discern the difference between what is 'true' and what is 'Truth', take all that you have held as true and distill it, refine it, examine it. Where you find a reaction and a rigid response there is likely to be something 'not true'.
Self Reflection: With gratitude for the experience, thank it and let it go. Where you have found ease, love, peacefulness and compassion, there is likely to be a Truth. With gratitude, place these knowings in your heart, and carry-on.

The Meaning of Walk Truth
October's Cycle of Truth is to Work and Walk Truth. My relationship with Work Truth is in all the ways I express my creative pulse by and through Divine Direction. Walk Truth is the process of expressing my work out in the world and to others. I Walk Truth when I walk with the understanding my work is 'More God than me'. Walk Truth is meditation in action.
In Work Truth, I create with and through spirit. In Walk Truth, my walk in the world is a spiritual practice. It is often as colorful and rowdy as it is soft and contemplative.
Self Reflection: How am I currently expressing my life's work our in the world and to others? Do I need support to express my life more truthfully? If so, am I will to ask for this support? to receive it?

The Gifts of Moon's Waxing Phase
Begin again, a new moon, a new day,
Clean slate, if I choose to see it that way.
Try too hard and the receding tide will leave me dry upon the beach.
Instead,
Gentle growing, layer by layer, I create.
I allow a vision to become clearer, fuller, more illuminated.
I allow it.
I don't force it.
My illumination comes slowly sliver added upon sliver
with each new day.
This way, I am not blinded by my own light.
It is more humble to acknowledge
I am as much light as the brightest star
Then it is to deny the light within.
This light I have yet to reveal, to myself, let alone to another.
Moon is patient and kind
She will repeat her lessons as often as needed
Cycle after cycle
Infinitely
There are enough days in the waxing phase
the expanding illumination phase
to embody a little more of my light
and integrate it in my being and doing.
I work with my Light and then,
at the Full Moon,
I will be more out and about in the world
with this newer Lighter me.
I will experience this newer Lighter me
for a couple of weeks
and I will then begin again.
But for now, I will just enjoy my current phase of enlightenment!
Self Reflection: How am I enjoying my current phase of enlightenment?

Trust in Your Choices and Your Dreams
Trust in your
choices and your dreams.
Can I trust my
choices?
How often I second
guess my decisions!
I second guess myself even when I'm
going for something I have dreamed of, longed for, worked for.
By the process of exploring and experiencing each cycle what is Truth in my life as it is laid out in the Cycles of Truth, I have come to know more what is trustworthy in my body's reaction to things. I have come to recognize when my thinking and
emotions are truthful and in integrity, and when I am out of alignment with my Truth. This has been a slow process, and my awareness of changes I have made, are more an after the fact 'aha', than pre-choice awareness.
This past week I
made a choice to spend a good chunk of money on something which has the
potential to support the dream I have for my work and life. After I made my decision, I waited for
buyer's remorse to set in. It
didn't. I didn't wake up in the middle
of the night with an "oh s--t, what have I done". I didn't wake up the next morning with my
stomach in knots. 48 hours later, I still had a subtle hum of excitement, aware of the work ahead and was looking forward to beginning. No regrets, no second-guessing. A year later, opportunity 'successfully' completed. The big ah-ha for me was the outcome was not what I had envisioned. Rather than going where I thought I wanted to end up, I found what I was going for was not the direction I was being turned toward.
So, what is different
now? What has changed in me? I realized that in the past my
choices and decisions have usually been from my need to be safe and create security in my world. Of course, this frequently didn't work out the way I planned...hence always the 'buyer's remorse' response. This
time I made a decision from the space of giving myself and my work what is needed to flourish and grow. I am flourishing and growing, and parts of myself that no longer serve me or others are falling way. I have less resistance. I have more willingness to say 'yes' without needing to know the outcome. I also have found more willingness to say 'no' without fear of missing out. This space feels SO different! I am coming to trust my choices
and trust (and honor) my dreams. I am also as ease with my dreams being fluid and changing, growing.
Self Reflection: Am I willing to seek the support and guidance I need to make choices and go for my dreams with 'no regrets'?

Cycles of Truth and the 5 Senses
We begin the experience of being human through our 5 senses. The 5 senses are not instincts, but they inform our instincts, and also, the other way around.
We begin our learning about what it is to be human with our sense of 'touch'. We learn comfort and pain, hot and cold, hard, soft. Our first experience of being loved or rejected comes through our tactile experience during our birth.
In working with the Cycles of Truth, we begin with Learn Truth and the first of our five senses, touch. This tactile sense is our first informer as to whether our world is a good and safe place to be. It is the first way we are in relationship with all of our world.
Reflecting on our early experience in the world gives us clues about where we need to update our sensory systems (quite literally). Jamie Sams' experienced this first cycle of truth as 'Talks With Relations'. Through the story she tells, she shows how our willingness to step into relationship with all of creation (not just people and our pets) is a tried and true way to Learn Truth AND to open our sense of touch to a higher level of sensitivity and frequency, which brings healing for us and for all we touch..

On Receiving the Gifts of Truth
Sit
with the understanding the Cycles of Truth are Gifts we receive to support us
in becoming the fullness of who we were created to be in this life. Cycles: meaning to come around again and again, to have a regular rhythm and flow, a completion of a series.
Cycles have specific patterns and effects; familiar, yet each time we experience them, they bring something new. Sometime the gift is wonderful, joyful, expansive. Sometimes, until we have fully received the gift, we may feel it as a burden, or even a punishment.
To consciously receive the benefit of the Gifts of Truth we must give space and time for the fullness and depth of the gifts of Truth as they continue to come into our lives. When confusion comes with the gift, as it often does, know that con-fusion is a sign that our old understandings are giving way to new and fuller knowing. Eventually, this new and fuller knowing will give way to even fuller knowing, and the cycle will keep continuing.

Our Senses as They Relate to Our Personal and Spiritual Growth
Experiencing our five senses as they manifest through or in
the Cycles of Truth has the effect of helping us to take fully advantage of this gift that is our life. We learn to be fully present to life in
the moment and to become more fully aligned with Creator’s purpose for our
individual life. We learn to use our
senses as tools for connecting to higher frequencies of awareness. We are able to have our senses become more
acute and sensitive so that we can respond more proactively, rather than from
fear or anxiety. We become more able to
use our senses to wake up to the world
around us and to our own unique path.
Highly developed senses, while they may require our
attention and cannot be easily ignored, can bring a sense of ease to our lives
once we come to trust them and to use them wisely. The increased awareness with our senses also
awakens our intuition, often called the sixth sense,

All I Really Need To Do Is Suspend My Limited Beliefs
Our next pause on the blue moon cycle path is the space of 'Know
and Accept Truth'. To know and accept truth requires mostly one thing:
suspending our belief-about everything. In our
current place on the personal growth spectrum, our beliefs limit what is
possible. As we continue to turn our face ever more to the light that is
Truth, we can accept and be grateful that what we currently know as true is
only a part, not the whole.
We contemplate these odd phrases (Learn
Truth, Honor Truth, Know and Accept Truth, etc.). We come to understand them as
invitations to different ways of relating to Truth--to Creator/Great
Mystery/God. We begin to experience
something quite amazing in our being and our mind. As we become willing
to suspend what we think we know (our beliefs about most everything), we find
they are replaced with a profound awareness of 'knowing'. This sense of
knowing seems to come from deep within as well as if from a Source far beyond
our self. This ‘knowing’ may feel quite uncomfortable as we become aware
that with the acceptance of this new ‘knowing’ we will be changed in the way we
live and manifest our life. Even with the discomfort, holding gratitude
for this larger Truth takes use step closer to Accepting Truth.

Why Quest for Truth
It seems All of great spiritual teachers, mystics and holy ones were/are seekers of Truth. All of them! Go and read your favorites, and you will find this longing and searching very soon in their writing. This seeking is likely to show itself in one of the forms we experience in the Cycles of Truth, which is only another way of searching and knowing.
As I follow the path of my longing to understand and live my life purpose ever more truth-fully, I find teachings on Truth popping up all over, and with synchronicity. This one came this morning:
"...Does truth work in our lives?...Truth Heals the body, purifies the soul, reforms the sinner, solves difficulties, pacifies strife. There is no such thing as undemonstrated understanding. If you wish to know where you really stand spiritually, look about you at your environment, beginning with the body. There can be nothing in the soul that is not demonstrated sooner or later in the outer, and there is nothing in the outer that does not find some correspondence in the inner." (pg 201) From Emmet Fox, July 20, (1886-1951) , a pioneer of the New Thought movement, continues to inform many present day wisdom teachers and spiritual searchers.
