Inner Knowing Illuminates the Difference Between Wants and Needs

The waning moon teaching 'Live Truth' reveals that inner knowing illuminates the difference between wants and needs.  In living Truth in our life, we learn to discern ego from soul.

Egos are not capable of sorting out what are wants and what are needs.  Only the soul can do that.
The source of our deep inner knowing is our soul.

Only the soul would know that what the little girl really needed was a pair of glitter-covered red mary janes.   It wasn't just a whim.  It was her symbol for courage so she could read her poem in front of class.  The ego would say she was showing off, or how much better it made her look than the other girls, or that it wasn't something her parents' could afford.  But the soul persisted.  Her soul wore those red shoes long after her physical feet had outgrown them. Years later, in a courtroom they were with her when she spoke clearly, wisely and forcefully on behalf of her client.  The soul knew she needed those red shoes.
Sometimes what the soul knows surprises us.

The Grace of the childhood smorgasbord Sara wrote about in yesterday's blog is a smorgasbord where wants and needs are served together, each complimentary to the other.
Not either or, not excess, or gluttony, but generous portions, yet always the right size.  That is the way it is with Grace. That is the way we give meaning to Living Our Truth.

Self Reflection: How can I find this Grace again and feast at her smorgasbord more often.

Love Truth is Letting Go of the Need for Perfection

What have I encountered on this journey to Love Truth?
I have encountered the Truth that to Love Truth is to let go of my idea of the need for perfection.
I could name this a journey 'love imperfection', 'love patience', 'love what is hard to love'.
In my imperfections I recognize I have caused harm to others.
To love the truth of my human fallibility, means I can send a prayer for the one I have harmed.
I can open myself to receive the grace of self-forgiveness, and in doing so
Grace comes through me to amend for the suffering my own suffering has caused another.
In the truth of Love Truth, grace can come through me.
And I can offer comfort through me.

Self Reflection: What am I encountering on my journey to Love Truth.  I wonder what is yet to be revealed?

Preparations to Speak Truth-Outloud

Full Moon approaches.
She is calling us to be brightly visible.
She is calling us to speak the truth of our being.
Not just to be seen, but also willing to have our voices heard.
To share our stories with others.
These are the things which prepare us to speak truth:
We are willing to learn truth--to learn from the heart.
-to listen with the ears of the heart
-to see with the eyes of the heart
-to speak with the voice of the heart
We are willing to honor truth:
-the truth of our histories, memories and beliefs;
-the truth of our families, our culture, the world.
We are willing to know and accept what is truth,
particularly the truth of who we are.
We acknowledge and accept
-our strengths
-our weaknesses
-our gifts, skills, and talents
-our challenges.
We are ready now to share what we have learned, with humility and with truth.
Grace will accompany us as we prepare to step into the light,
to speak to the world truthfully, who we are!

Self Reflection:  I am prepared to listen, hear, see and speak my truth--out loud.

April's Full Moon Brings Us Grace to See(k)

We ask for clearer sight to see the truth of our gifts, as well as our foibles.
Asking for grace, asking for guidance, we are brave and move forward toward the light that is the
            eternal flame of love.
Willingness is a Grace that allows us to be brave in our movement.
All we need is the Grace of willingness to see what is truth for our lives.
Our real life force is so much bigger, wiser, more encompassing and expansive than we are aware.
When we see(k) the light of eternal love, we are drawn toward our own heart where our true self is
            waiting to be set free.
We break out of the shell of our false self.
We face our foibles and they dissolve into the light, or are transformed into learn-ed wisdom.
Our true potential begins to take form. Our journey now is to see(k) guidance to support our
             becoming.

Self Reflection: May this time of April's waning moon be the time I consciously choose to take the next step in my journey of becoming 'Me'.

Being a Conduit for Grace.

My life flows out into the world-freely and abundantly.
This flow is from Source, to me, through me.
My life is the transformer; my breath is the conduit.
It is not for me to stop or block Creator's flow.
I am a conduit for Divine Grace to flow out into the world.
This Grace becomes the expression of my life.

Self Reflection:   My life is a Transformer for Creator's Love; I am a conduit for Divine Grace.
