Surrendering what no longer serves me frees me of shame:
Accepting the time for surrender
Accepting the time for support
Opening to let go
Opening to clarity
Trusting guidance
Trusting intentions
Proceeding with Truth as my sentinel
Proceeding with Source as my compass.
Self Reflection: I can surrender what no longer serves me, trading that in for my real life, that which does serve me, and others, and the world.
PS:Check out Michael Singer's book surrender-experiment.
This is a blog of one minute (or less) inspirations based in rhythm with the cycles of the moon. Written for any person interested in living their lives more in Truth. It's also a blog for those who wish to use the moon cycles as a pathway to connect with their own spiritual life, and with all of creation. This blog shares the wisdom and experience of it's author(s) which we have found helpful to us in embodying the fullness of our own lives.

Surrendering Seen and Unseen
Fears lurk in the shadows of those parts of our self we are afraid to see and to have seen.
We enlighten our shadow, by slowly bringing our light toward it.
In doing so, our fears will naturally fade away.
We surrender our shadows to the light.
Surrender: to give over; to let go of; to turn in; to stop fighting.
Surrender in our case, about our life, means first learning to
Hand over our struggles,
Then our egos,
Then our successes,
Then our visions and dreams,
Then maybe--everything,
Even our souls.
We surrender everything to Creator.
It all comes from Creator, anyway.
We are just returning the whole of our being,
Most likely by bits and pieces.
We humans do like to hang on as long as we can.
Eventually we give it all over, the good and the bad, by bits and pieces.
Back to where it came from.
Back to Source.
Self -Reflection: Make a list of all you could turn over to Creator.

Learn Truth; Receive WIsdom
The usual practice for the time from the full moon to the closing moon is two-fold: 1) to release what we have come to understand as not serving our life, and 2) to put our selves more fully into the world. During the waning phase, we practice truthfully being who we are, the best as we are currently able and actively living our awareness.
However, during the first few Cycles of Truth at the beginning of each new year, the waning phase seems more appropriately to practice setting aside what we have discovered is not true/Truth, and taking up an attitude, openness and behavior of receiving--knowledge, wisdom, inspiration, hope...all this leads us to be more our Self, receiving all that we need to feel, learn, live and share truth.
Self Reflection: I name what I have learned as 'not true' of myself. I claim a wiser more Truth-full Self. I become a vessel for Creator's inspiration.
