Waking our Creative Spirit

The spirit of the artist lives within us all.
We are all creators, whether we own this essential part of our being or not.
To see our work in life as a creative act is a choice, regardless of what that work is.
If we walk in our life with an intention to create more love, peace, prosperity, balance..
        we walk as embodied artists for the Creator.
This is the path to Work and Walk in/with/for Truth.

Self Reflection:  How well do I know the spirit of my inner artist.  How would she express herself if I let her work in my life, walk in my life?

Spider weaves

Is she Creator of her own web?

Or does Creator come through her?

I weave my web

Inspired strands,

Spun in the colors of my heart

Imperfect Truths

Here for the moment

They speak to me

(and perhaps to another?)

Tomorrow,

my Truth will be different

And I will weave a new web

Different, yet still Truth

For I am a dust-speck spider

Weaving in the vastness of the Universe

Infinite and infinitesimal

Channeling that which cannot be contained!

Self reflection: On this New Moon, how is Universe inspiring me to weave my life? 

Loving the Truth of the Creative Part of My Being

Loving myself is the doorway to being a human who adds to the creative juices of the world. When I am able to love the truth of myself, my life becomes a living expression of Creation's vision for my being. My actions become creative and life giving. They have the capacity to nourish everything I touch. In return I, too, am nourished.  I flourish and prosper.

March Moon Cycle and the Season of Spring Invite Creative Growth

March is the first of the three cycles for the season of spring. Now new growth will start for all living things-including us. In this cycle we are called to look at truth from many different aspects. This insures our growth is balanced and in proportion. Balanced growth requires the development of the attribute of discernment rather than the use of judgment in relationship to all aspects of our life-the care of our Self, our relationships, our  life as creative beings, and the whole of our earthly home. 

The color for the season of Spring  is yellow, and reflects the third chakra, relating to the solar plexus, sense of self, and self-esteem. Brown is the color associated with March's Moon Cycle and the Truth Cycle to Know and Accept Truth. Brown is the color of the earth and reminds us of our necessary connection to Mother Earth.  The yellow of the sun and the brown of the earth also symbolize the abundant fertility of creation.  We are a vital part of this creative process. 

In The Celtic Way of Seeing, Meditations on the Irish Spirit Wheel (see Resources), Frank MacEowan writes about how this cycle of the east, in the springtime, relates to everything to do with ‘Home’-how our home reflects our sense of self, how we care for our home, how home is a place for our own resting and safe-keeping as well as for welcoming others into our life with more openness and intimacy. In the larger sense, the concept of ‘home’ also refers to Mother Earth, our planetary home. 

Self Reflection:  This moon cycle I embrace my homes; the home of my own being, the home where I live, and the home of us all, this planet earth.

Seeing Truth in Our Creative Life: Work/Career, Leisure, Finances, Philanthropy

The Creative Aspect of Self is the place where we consciously join with Creator to live our life to our fullest potential.   We make the decision to let go of our need to be in charge and control of our creative energies. We become willing to have an open mind and heart to receive Creator’s gifts—inspiration, guidance, direction, and impulse so we may be out in the world manifesting and fulfilling our birthright, our purpose.

Here in this place we do not work alone!  And yet, we alone do the work.  We alone are responsible for our actions.  Yet our actions are made known to us ONLY by our letting go of ‘my way’, the need to control. Preconceived ideas, notions and beliefs—which may be conscious, unconscious or subconscious MUST be set aside for our vision for our life to come clear.
