In our conscious choice to See Truth, we see the contradictions between what we believe to be true and our actual experience of truth we now encounter. It is our quest for truth, and our willingness to see(k) Truth, that brings us this gift of clarity. Our conflicts and challenges become doorways leading us to compassion, and to become who we are born to be.
We begin to see and know the bigger Truth of our wondrous Self (and truly, we are created wondrous).
We consciously act as the Self we are now discovering.
We begin to be visible in the world, to those around us.
One of the results of stepping more fully and truthfully into our lives is that, we become more visible to others, and people see us differently than they have before.
[Carolyn's personal comment: Since I have begun working with the Truth Cycles and consciously trying to apply them in my daily life, it is not unusual for someone I have not seen for a while to comment that I seem somehow different to them, changed. I take this as a good thing!]
But more important than how we are seen, is that we begin to see others differently. We have more compassion, and a broader and deeper understanding of what we see in the world around us. We are able to humbly acknowledge the limits of our ability to know others' truth. We are able to allow them more space for their journey and in doing so, we have more space for our own.
Self Reflection: As I stay on my path and continue to see(k) truth, I change, others change, confirming we are all connected.
This is a blog of one minute (or less) inspirations based in rhythm with the cycles of the moon. Written for any person interested in living their lives more in Truth. It's also a blog for those who wish to use the moon cycles as a pathway to connect with their own spiritual life, and with all of creation. This blog shares the wisdom and experience of it's author(s) which we have found helpful to us in embodying the fullness of our own lives.

Shedding Old Beliefs
New ways of thinking, doing, and being come through conscious awareness.
We consciously trade in our current knowledge for greater Wisdom and knowing.
This knowing is much deeper, more grounded in truth, and more expansive than 'knowledge'.
'Knowledge' is connected with our personality, ego and 'book-learning' and the self-protective interpretations of our experiences.
Knowledge is frequently rooted in fears.
This kind of self-knowledge is what habituates into false beliefs.
It is easy to cling to the beliefs we have about ourselves, especially if those beliefs are self-critical.
Self Reflection: Do my interpretations and beliefs about my life come more from my fears or from the Knowing which comes through connecting to Divine Guidance?

The Premise of One's Beliefs Effect Our Ability to Manifest Truth
Webster refers to a belief as "faith; an act of accepting as true, or giving credence to...". Premise is "a previous statement from which something is inferred or concluded." (It's also a piece of real estate--which just might be the most salient way to work with with our beliefs--upon what ground are our beliefs built anyway?--aka St. Peter) This may be the premise for the instructions to honor Truth initially for how Truth presents to us. It does seem that contemplating our premise's for our life, as Sara did in her commitment from yesterday's post, is the action step or the 'effect' of our belief for Truth as we currently experience it in our being.
Our beliefs and the actions resulting from our premises are either Life Giving or Life Killing, in terms of becoming who we are in our Soul Self. Jung has a lot to say about this in terms of the development of the Soul. So do Thomas Moore, James Hillman, and Marion Woodman. Thomas Aquinas wrote, "As a matter of honor, one man owes it to another to manifest the truth." It is also a matter of honor to our Self.
Self-Reflection: What is the premise of my beliefs around Truth?
