Become Your Vision Through Living the Cycles of Truth

Much of what we learn of the Truth of who we truly are comes through our relationships with others and our experiences in the world.  Some of what we take in as Truth is false evidence appearing real. Some of what we take as true is future events already ruined. This is the misunderstanding of the instinct of fear.   In the natural world, the instinct of fear is Creator's gift that tells all Creator's creatures to pay attention to what is coming.  That's it.  Just pay attention.  When we learn to pay attention to what is, then we can begin to discern with our all our physical senses; Truth from illusion as it is revealed in our relationships and our experiences. 

Self Reflection: As we sit in the darkness of the closing moon for the 13th Moon Cycle of Be Truth, we are preparing for January's moon cycle, and the gifts of Learn Truth.

In the Time of the Closing Moon of Sharing Truth

The time of the 11^th Closing Moon

I am holding the place of TRUTH that walks beside me. Even when I don’t see her, hear her, feel her.

She is there, here, always present.

But where am I?

How has TRUTH, my silent, ever present partner, manifested herself this month, in me?

A year of sitting with the TRUTH and inviting her into our life:

We have learned her.

We have honored her.

We have accepted her.

We have seen her.

We have heard her.

We have spoken her.

We have loved her.

We have served her.

We have lived her.

We have worked her.

We have walked her.
We have shared her.

Now…

We thank her.

Next…

We ARE her.  We are TRUTH. 

TRUTH (and her sister Wisdom) emanate from the moon.  Both are essences ever present, though visible only through their reflection out to the world.  Still, even in their not being seen, they exist. 

Self Reflection: The truth of my essence is also visible as a reflection in the world. 

Gifts of October's Closing Moon

We each have a web of life we have co-created with the Source of our being.
Our web of life holds our dreams.
As we Work with Truth in our life, our love, desire and our efforts manifest our dreams in our life.
As we Walk in Truth, we are taking steps to share our life with others.
Our willingness to Share Truth in our life is the next essential step on the path of our Life.

Self Reflection:  I carry in my being stardust from the origin of the universe--the original big bang. Can I begin to imagine My Truth as big as that? What an origin!
I am connected to all of creation.  This is the Truth I am willing to Share in my work and my walk as I live my life.





 

Closing Moon for September and the Cycle of Live Truth

We are in the closing moon for September.  In this day may we become aware of the small ways we have learned to use our senses to hear, see, sense, feel and taste the presence and power of the Creative Force of life within.  

We prepare to step consciously onto the Web of Life, to work with and to walk with Truth in our lives. 

Self Reflection: A Contemplative Prayer: "Bring me more into alignment with my own inner truth and enrich my capacity to Live Truth in my being, within myself and in the world.  I ask a vision for my life. I ask for a conscious dream to understand how to live the unique expression of Truth in my life walk, in my life work."

I align MY internal flame with the Eternal Flame of Love.

By internal flame, is meant one's life force, which is the energy which we bring into the world with us when we are born.  Over time, our life experiences can be like a storm battering away at the flame of a lamp.  While we cannot control the metaphoric winds and storms that threaten our flame, we can strengthen the wick of the lamp which is our life.

Our intention for living our life and our commitment to live with integrity (Truth as best as we currently understand) weave together and become like a wick, drawing up energy from Creator's unlimited source. This energy, ignited by Grace, is an ever-flowing gift of love available to all of us. 

We receive this Grace through two actions: First, through a daily practice of expressing specific and sincere gratitude (thanksgiving) and second, by asking Source (by whatever name we have for Source) for help in living our life and are consciously willing to receive help.  In other words, we establish a morning practice of gratitude prayer and contemplative petition.

May I walk in the Grace of Now. May I walk in the Grace of Being.  Loving What Is, exactly as it is. In expectancy of whatever will be, but never in anticipation.

May I let go of the future and the past, of controlling either.  Just as I have no control over what already Is.
For then, I will have Peace

Self Reflection:  I feel how I walk in the grace of the moment. I am aware of how I love what is. It helps me stay in expectation and not anticipation.

June Closing Moon Speaking: Truth and Wisdom are Twin Storytellers

Having compassion and understanding for what has gone before us is necessary to pass on the Wisdom gleaned from our experiences.  Our own Truth and Wisdom grow from sitting in the circle of storytellers.
If our story is to serve humankind and the universe, it must be shared. It takes courage to speak a new story or to share a dream.
Seeing, hearing and speaking Truth with humility, acceptance and a joyful, open heart prepares us to Love all Things and Serve Truth.

April's Closing Moon Opens Our Eyes to Be Able Hear Truth

Spirit and matter dance together 

In dreams and far visions 

I have learned to see. 

I notice and reflect on my journey this month, 

I see where I have become one who embodies the willingness to look through the eyes of my heart. My ability to see and perceive experiences clearly and accurately is growing. 

More and more, my perceptions are trustworthy. 

Now, my decisions are made with wise guidance, not fear. 

The gift of experiencing wisdom through dreamtime is awakening.  

My wisdom and abilities will continue to expand as I receive the gift of the May moon cycle, 

to Hear Truth.

Honor Truth's Closing Moon GIfts

We are in the closing of the February Moon and the Cycle for Honor Truth.  The moon has flowed and ebbed, like the tides over which she rules.  Ebbing now toward the next cycle she leaves behind in the sand of each of our lives precious pieces of who we are today, fragments of where we have come from, and little shells, which if we hold up to our ears and listen, offering hints of where our life journey can take us in our future.  

What does the final ebbing of the closing moon reveal to you?  Take time to sit with these jewels left behind.  The sand is the journal pages upon which you write.  The jewels are the words on the page.  Honor Truth writes through us onto these pages.  Take time be with the wisdom you have, hold, are becoming.  Sit in contemplation of what has been given and received during this cycle, preparing you for the gift of Know and Accept Truth and March’s first Moon of spring and new life.

Self Reflection:  I read the wisdom written through my own hands; receive it without judgment. I honor my truth. This is how I Honor Truth.

Closing January's Moon

We have come to the close of the first moon cycle of the new year. This cycle of Learn Truth reminded us of our connection and relationship to all things. It set the rhythm for coming together and being in relationship with ourselves, other human beings, animal and plant life, the planet, universe and Great Spirit! The color for the first moon cycle,orange, continues to remind us to kindle our inner fire, find ways to bring warmth to our relationships, and by caring for our relationships, keep those warming fires going during these long winter months.

Self-Reflection:  Rest and warm yourself in gratitude for the work you do and your willingness to be in the process of becoming, and the gifts your open yourself to receive from the wisdom of Grandmother Moon.

Some of Our Parts Are Slow to Change, but Shift Happens

I often look back at my previous years' moon cycle writing to see where I was in my life in the previous year(s). I came across my writing from the first blog for the Closing Moon (we called it 'dark' moon back then).  I was a bit shocked to read a very similar theme of self-awareness and self-analysis. When I read through my post, I was at first let down, questioning if I have made any progress at all.
But as I read it again, more slowly and with a compassion I would offer to anyone struggling with their way of living life.
I have made changes, albeit sometimes the change feels small.
I have grown as a woman, I hope more into a wise woman.
I AM more willing to be in truth as I currently understand it.
I AM more willing to be with the truth of others--even when I'd rather not.

Self Reflection: I take time to name and appreciate the small shifts in my way of being. I take time to have compassion for where my change is slow.

A Thought for the Closing the Cycle of Love Truth and Moving to the Blue Moon Cycle 'Be Truth' and Wholeness

Lisa and I spent the this past weekend at a workshop and ceremony with the son and daughter-in-law of Twylah Nitsch, who inspires the way I set my intention to live, as well as the work I do.  Lisa found this quote by Carl Jung on a sign post outside the center where the workshop was being held.  Wisdom teacher come from many places, and their teachings ring familiar truths.
